First aid and CPR
Our staff are required to hold a current and up-to-date First Aid certificate as well as CPR certification, ensuring they are fully prepared to respond effectively in emergency situations.
Incident reporting
Our training emphasizes the importance of timely and accurate reporting, which is critical for effective investigation and root cause analysis. This approach facilitates the implementation of corrective actions, helps maintain legal compliance, and supports a strong safety culture.
People safe policies
Our staff are required to hold current Victoria Police checks and Working with Children’s check. In addition Care and Needs has extensive policies and procedures dedicated to vulnerable people such as minors and people who live alone.

Annie West is a registered nurse with extensive experience in critical healthcare and aged care services. As the director of Care and Needs, she oversees the delivery of personalised care and support to clients across various settings. Annie combines her clinical expertise with strong leadership skills to ensure the highest standards of care are met. In addition to her directorial responsibilities, she also works as a support worker, providing hands-on assistance to individuals with diverse care needs. Her commitment to client well-being and professional integrity underpins everything she does at Care and Needs.
